Complete Tree Care, Done Right

From single-tree removals to full commercial contracts, Central Oregon Tree Service handles every aspect of tree care safely, cleanly, and on schedule. Explore our full service menu below.

Tree Removal

When a tree poses a hazard, has died, or suffered storm damage beyond recovery, prompt removal protects your property and the people on it. Our crews are trained in controlled felling, sectional dismantling, and rigging for tight residential lots and commercial sites.

  • Dead or dying trees losing structural integrity
  • Storm-damaged or split limbs creating hazard zones
  • Trees too close to structures, utilities, or fences
  • Clearing for construction, landscaping, or fire mitigation

Every removal includes full debris cleanup and haul-off. We leave your property clean.

Pruning & Trimming

Proper pruning extends a tree's life, improves structure, and removes weak or crossing branches before they become hazards. Our ISA-trained crew follows ANSI A300 pruning standards — no topping, no flush cuts, no guesswork.

  • Crown cleaning — remove dead, damaged, and diseased wood
  • Crown thinning — improve light and air circulation
  • Structural pruning — guide young trees toward strong form
  • Clearance pruning — maintain setbacks from rooflines and utilities

Trimming appointments are available seasonally. Ask about annual care plans to keep your trees healthy year-round.

Stump Grinding

After a tree comes down, the stump left behind is a tripping hazard, a pest habitat, and an eyesore. Stump grinding reduces the stump below grade so you can replant, sod, or pave over the area cleanly.

  • Stumps ground 6–12 inches below grade depending on site needs
  • Grindings raked back or removed per your preference
  • Root flare addressed to prevent regrowth
  • Residential yards and tight access sites serviced

Stump grinding is available as a standalone service or combined with a removal job. Ask about multi-stump discounts for properties with several stumps.

  • Municipal right-of-way and utility corridor clearing

Common Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most before a job starts.

  • Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We offer free on-site estimates for all residential and commercial tree work. Call or submit a request online and we'll schedule a visit at your convenience.
  • How long does a typical job take?
Single-tree removals usually complete in half a day. Larger jobs, multi-tree projects, or commercial contracts are scoped individually — we'll give you a timeline in the estimate.
  • Will you clean up debris and haul it away?
Yes. Every job includes full debris cleanup. Wood chips and brush are hauled off-site unless you'd like to keep the chips for mulch — just let us know.
  • Do I need to be home during the work?
Not necessarily. As long as we have clear access to the work area and have reviewed the scope in advance, most jobs can proceed without the homeowner on-site.
  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Lindsey Land & Tree is Licensed, bonded, and insured.

CCB#219024.  We're happy to provide proof of insurance before work begins.

  • What time of year is best for pruning?
Late dormancy (late winter to early spring) is ideal for most species — trees are less stressed and wounds close faster. We prune year-round when safety or health requires it.
